Affiliate Disclosure
How we use partner links — and our commitment that they never shape what we publish.
Cooperatives.com is free to use. Some of the links on this site — particularly on our insurance and formation guides — are affiliate or partner links. If you click one and go on to buy a product or request a quote, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra; the price you pay is the same as going to the provider directly.
We label these links as sponsored, and they route through our /go/ redirect so we can keep track of them in one place. Everything else on the site — our encyclopedia, directory, statistics, and tools — is independent and carries no affiliate link.
What this does not change
- Our coverage. Which providers, software, or insurers we describe — and what we say about them — is an editorial decision. A commercial relationship never buys a mention, a ranking, or a kinder write-up.
- Our directory and data. Cooperative listings, sector data, and statistics are compiled from public and official sources. They are never pay-to-play and are never affected by any affiliate arrangement.
- Your cost. Using a partner link never raises your price. Where a link is not part of a paid programme, it simply takes you to the provider's own page.
A note on formation services
Business-formation services file a legal entity (usually an LLC or corporation). In most jurisdictions there is no separate “cooperative” filing, so the cooperative character of your organisation comes from your bylaws and operating agreement — not from the filing service. Always confirm your local cooperative statute first; see Cooperative Laws by Country. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or insurance advice.
